HOW TO USE MTN MUSIC PLUS MB ON JAVA PHONES


Java phone users have been complaining that why is the music plus mb only for Android and Symbian Phones. That is why I decided to post this tutorial for Java user. They can now enjoy the MTN music plus mb on their phones. The steps are as follow

1. Send D or I to get your 150mb. Dial *559*2# to check your Mb
2. Make sure you have atleast N5 on your phone. This will assist in powering the MB
3. Create Connection Settings with below IP and port
IP: 10.199.212.2
Port: 80
APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Homepage: http://musicplus.mtnonline.com

4. Launch your Opera mini 4.2Lab and input the below settings
HTTP: http://server4.operamin.com
SOCKET: socket://server4.operamin.com
Front Query : musicplus.mtnonline.com
Proxy Type: HTTP
Proxy Server: server4.1.operamini.ne%3a@0.facebook.com

If you are using Ucweb Handler, below is your settings
Front Query: musicplus.mtnonline.com#
Proxy Type: HTTP or Real Host
Proxy Server: server4.1.operamini.ne%3a@0.facebook.com


Web Browsers should use below settings
Profile Name: Mtn Musicplus
Homepage: http://musicplus.mtnonline.com
User Name: web
Password: web
Use Preferred Access Point: NO

In Access Point Settings
Proxy: choose enable» Proxy Address: turrindex.net
Port: 80
Data Bearer: choose packet data
Packet Data Access Point: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
